The plan after work today was to accompany me best bud Fizah go grocery shopping at carrefour but since she replied late, I was already at Toa Payoh chatting up with Wina on her upcoming wedding plans... but the surprise return of my dearest dad who has been offshore for 2 months plus came as a shock so all plans went haywire as I cut short the talk and proceeded to meet Dad in town. The first thing he ask"Nak gi makan pat newton?" He must have missed the food a lot so had to cancel out on dear and understanding bud, Fizah... and subsequently made calls to my siblings, Lolo, YumYum and Pinpin. Yum2 and Pinpin will meet us at Newton upon end of work at Compass point. Lolo was done with work so meet up with him for a drink at starbucks wif my dad.

Met Ana there looking all fine. Happy in her career alongside her ever-so-loving relationship Atip and her new hard-to-use phone; NOKIA jog-a-dial. DEn I realised I missed Atip's show and award at APM (anugerah Planet Melayu), Bhumiband... Shucks...! And I call myself a fren... Haizzzzzz...!!!

Congratulations Bhumiband, esp Athif, for winning the award for Kumpulan Baru Terbaik::
The group of 7 Singaporeans who are now known in 3 countries namely Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia(Fuh.. Jauh tu!). They actually received 5 nominations. Amazing how popular they have become since entering the music industry and their album, SUARA DUNIA, hae not been launched yet in Kuala Lumpur(the heart of all media industry) and Indonesia until mid-2005!!! Congrats congrats. I know many Singaporeans are proud of you...

End of day, Lolo, my dad and me leapt off to newton and eagerly ordered our sumptious spread.

The hotness of Chilli crab getting to me! So is on Pinpin! Hehe!

The finished meal!!!

My already-full Dad...

Despite all this, my dad remembered to order a meal for my mum when she return from work the day after... And her food was more sumptious than ours!!! It has been a lovely reunion supper.. :)

This is a belated entry on the this evening date. A pool competition began late for some girls and me. The quiet evening began to pick as the crowd thickens towards 9.30pm nearing the pool comp at Moloko Cafe and Bar.

Managress Shireen and her able assistant invited the ever livening crowd of mixed attractions. Whilst many socialise into the night, I officially lost at 11.40pm. Lack of practice... what to do... But the scores of disappointment that was heaped upon me was unbelievable. Like i'm a master of the pool trait and I failed. Oh well, its a nice thought... To know that many thinks I have that muuch skill... Padahal padahal...

But at this juncture I actually saw part of a true colors of a VERY good fren. So despite my loss I gain a knowledge that far beseeched any trophies or prize. NOt all frenz can be trusted. Eventually you have to rely on yourself...

@ DarLinG's

Today was duly spent Wif my DarLing's family...Somehow, i feel the parents enjoy having me hanging around the house.. i Wonder why... The mum mentioned something about daughter-in-law and mother-in-law issues, and I'm not a daughter-in-law yet?!?! Wonder if she trying to test water or its a general question. Yeah I've heard mother-in-law issues before and I've met some who honestly have none cos she accepted all the good and bad of the other party. Its like accepting a new fren whilst they are the majority some who struggle thru the pain of competing the attention of the man they both love.

Posted:
Q: Why would you rather deal with a vicious dog than your mother-in-law?

A: A vicious dog eventually lets go!

Oh well, everyone has their shareof different moether-in-law issues... What we fail to see is wat if we became a mother-in-law later, how 'd we feel about dat... Will we then be called mother-in-law issues too? Haizz... Lumrah... No matter, love my man to bits... and if he loves and respects his mother so much.. So will I... I have yet to have mine. But its gonna be good. I know i'll make it, insyallah...

Check out this site where advice is given to mother-in-law and daughter-in-law problems. NEAT! Its called motherinlawstories.com! Quirky isnt it? Dont forget to check out the MIL Mall!!!

Back at his house, Having The complete family affair plus the 'guest' which was me seemed simple and comfortable.. Homey feel...Something in this paragraph seems weird but I cant point it out and its 4am so I cant really think so i'll jus ramble on... Hey, i'm entitled to discrepancies in vocabulary at 4am!

@ Effen's

At the same time, listening to my dear fren DJ Effen's music LIVE from Selecta Radio. Its somehow something i'll never get accustomed to; listening to your own friend on air... Proud his there...
He's living part of his dreams.. when am I going to live mine...??? Haizz... Good luck Effen...
Your dearest friends are all behind you...

This show watched at PS Golden Village (one of my favourite and most frequented theatre) played the cutest, romantic, and realistic plots on romantic comedies. Its the basic line-up for boy-meets-girl, boy-loses-girl, and boy-wins-girl-back. BUt hey its the flow of the story dat counts.

I'm an ardent fan of Will Smith movies as I find him a true leading man and seen his success in various movies... This show earns

This is taken from a fellow fotopages-blogger, Jeffri.

A friend of mine use to say that, "...if you think you are unhappy, there are others who are more unhapy. If you think you are unlucky, there are other who are more unlucky."

At first glance, this statement will not amount to much, but merely sound like an attempt at comforting someone who is down in the dumps. But the more we look at it, the more sense it makes, and the more its truth seems to come out in the open.

Although most of us will hate to admit it, it is true that we tend to look at our misfortunes and think that its the end of the world. More often than not, we somehow fail to look at the bigger picture, and feel that we are the most unlucky person in the entire world. But the truth is, no matter how big our problems or misfortunes are, they are nowhere near what others have to go through.

While most of us complain and lament about having to spend just a few minutes under the hot sun, just think about the countless others who have no other choice but to throw themselves at the mercy of the sun in order to put some food on their table. And how about those who had to endure the pounding thunderstorm, soaking themselves to the bones, just to make ends meet.

While most of us will sit in the comforts of our air-conditioned car and yet, still complain about the scorching sun, there are those who are thankful that it is not raining, simply because it meant that they still have the opportunity to earn some money for the day. How the simplest of things in life will make a difference between having something to eat for dinner or simply go to bed with an empty stomach.

It is really ironic that someone who have so many things in life, seems to be fond of complaining about the most minute things, when those who are less fortunate, seems to be more thankful for what they have, rather than what they do not have.

Perhaps it is human nature, that once we have all the things in life, we will tend to ignore those lesser than us. Perhaps the time has come for us to learn to appreciate life more and be thankful for what we have, rather than complaining about what we do not have.

In the end, the greatest possession is not about money, jewellery or a string of luxury cars or condominiums, but life itself. Getting the opportunity to live from one day to another is indeed the biggest of all assets.

Upon reading this... Aduh! Sedih nyer... my depression mode terus TURN OFF! May we be rich in all the ways that really count in life.

DEPRESSION MODE: Half -ON

The week has come and gone... all i can do is engulf myself in work and the irony of it all, i aint a workaholic!?!?! Working in a muti-national company may appear as great as it seems with the company boasting its surplus generosity in terms of leave entitlement, working hours and all-around insurance even outside of work! But the community defines the work force. when there is a majority and minority, racism ultimately reigns. But seriously, where in Singapore 'it' doesnt happen? Haizzz... My advice, make the best of it and you'll be happier than most i tell ya... Dont be like me. A worrisome. I worry abt everything. Should i destress and pick up the butt of Sampoerna again. Oh no no no! I think i should. heee... Women! So fickle!

My day will come.. so will you... one day...

DEPRESSION MODE: "ON"

Well, what can I say women have all these 'so -called' depression tendencies. My hopeful cure is blogsurf, my past-time long-neglected. Preceeding the hacking of my memories on blogger and my contacts on friendster, my life seem to make a turn around. All the memories embedded seem to be temporarily disconnected as the virtual memories have been erased. Probably i'm waiting for my brain to boot back th ememories. What in the world am i rubbishing about?!?!!? This is what happens when I am in depression mode.

Blogsurfing.... this what i found...

  1. From Wagawaga's: Saw dat Spongebob Squarepants the movie is out, need to remind my brother and some spongebob fans.

  2. From Jewel's: New henna 'skins', i like....

  3. From google: My name "Tirah" is a country!

  4. From Effen's:

    The Perfect Key
    Effen broadcasting LIVE from Singapore

    http://www.selectaradio.com

I'll be starting my internet radio show on Selecta Radio UK this Friday 6 - 8pm GMT, which translates to Saturday morning 2 - 4am local time. Each week I'll be dishing out the Trippy, Melodic & Progressive tunes I have come across, with the harder ones towards the end. If you're not having plans to head out on Friday nights, tune in then.
    Spread The Word.

Selecta Radio is a 'Club Music' net radio station, with every genre under the sun in terms of club music, all styles of house, techno, trance, urban, hip hop, rnb, D&B.

On Selecta Radio there are 21 DJs coming from USA, UK, Norway, Spain and now, Singapore spinning LIVE and getting their music across.

  5. From Ira's: Such a beautiful smurf pic but what I wanna read, i cant see... Once my depression mode over, i go over and teach her before she skips town.Singapore spinning LIVE and getting their music across.

  6. From Zati's: Today, upon a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman.
And wished I were as beautiful.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and wore a crutch.
But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs; the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me, "I thank you,
    you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two eyes; the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street,
    I saw a child I knew.
He stood and watched the others play,
but he did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join them dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
    I forgot, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two ears; the world is mine.

With feet to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.

Make us wonder what is NOT EnUFF....!

  7. From Raihan's: The beauty of her wedding plans and future leave many envy and may her wedding be as successful as she is insyallah.

  8. From Diah's: The teacher whose live revolves around such cute tembam kids. Now i understand why they created T.A.F Club... looking at the baby fat on these kids! I like! Heheheh....

  9. From Suzie: Her new pinky site... i like i like.... We all girly-girls - unite!

  10. From the rest..... the happy entries, I can feel the happiness. For the sad ones, my depression jus continued its descent....

Jus by bloghopping and reading other's happiness, I can become happy usually momentarily.

A special outing spent with special SISTAZ.

PLUS

Well what can be said but when spent with important people, the outing became significant. This happen on Sunday.... Where hordes of people crowded the ever so popular Tampines Mall.
We went to watch a movie and dis is not a nice picture. I'm anti ghost-stories but I do have to watch at times and so I did. It was a stupid show and a waste of my fear. Note to all.

:Do not watch this show:

My sincere apologies to all who drops and browse....

My eyes going bonkers staring into the pc screen and and I have grown a detachment to seeing a pc at home too BUT once my eyes finally laid eyes on all the links galore, i'm glued. Hehehehe... What can I say, i'm a blogger..... ;p

Seems my weekend is filled whenever it arrives like last week. Spent it in the beauty of my stepmum's new house... Nice ambience... Delicious food... Some of siblings

and plenty of my relatives. Check out bulan's multiply... Cutesy-wutsey... Have all the little ones running around... Everything was fun till my fingers slipped and my darling nephew fell on his head... Fortunately, there was no immediate danger if not, it'll be in my conscience all my life. That ended the family-happily mood.
