The gals namely, Fiza C , Fizah E, Isma, and the newly crowned mother ,Leen (plus her baby, Nadya) had dinner today at Changi Aiport T2’s Fish & Co. at about 8pm
Imran also came along and much later , so did Fahru.


Moments after settling down, a waiter promptly popped up at our table. ( I was about to comment on his speediness in service but… ) Instead of taking our orders, he surprisingly inquired who is Siti Rabaah. And upon confirmation that the name belong to yours truly., he then presented me with a beautiful basket of lovely flowers along with a cute purple box-present. … Courtesy of Noel Birthday Treats, for my Birthday!!!
Awwwwww....! The gals had planned this for my Birthday.. So sweet!
(Appreciated it a lot ladies, Thank you, Thank you and Thank you so much )

Aniwez, we had the Mussel with lemon & garlic sauce, which really lives up to its name as an appetizer cause I was Very ready for the main course after that. Mine was
( and always will be ) the New York Fish & Chips.. Sluuuurp. :p………………………
Other main courses ordered that night were seafood platter for two & another fish dish, …..
The seafood platter was shared by the most of us but thanks to Fahru, we managed to finish it. With the nice ambiance and great company of friends, this dinner cum my Birthday surprise was, as usual very enjoyable.

The feast unfortunately had to end at about 1000hrs. Everybody got to work tomorrow and its way past Baby Nadya ‘s sleeping time..: )

Rushing to Metro to get the Braun Buffel wallet that daddy was the first halt to my day. Metro Sengkang do not have Braun Buffel Men range! My substitute was Goldlion. Hope Dad don't mind. Haizzz...


Hubs and me sped to Habourfront via CTE & overshot the exit as per the last time. After an hour on getting the right route, we booked the 3pm ferry and secretly arranged with my aunt on our arrival who happens to be heading to Mega Mall for the Dyan's (lil brother) concert.
As soon as we alighted, we headed to Mega Mall and arrived just in time for the concert. My lil brothers (Dyan, Kevin and Farrel) as always were overly delighted to see my hubby and off they went into a world of their own. After the concert, my dad, aunt, lil brothers, hubs & me did some light shopping at the Batam's biggest Mall, Nagoya Hill, and missed the opprtunity to watch Spiderman 3 there as it was fully oocupied. So we went for some buffet Sunda food.

The following day, we started with breakfast at the market... Indonesian food is really an acquired taste! Aunt, Hubs and me did some more shopping after breakfast, had a photoshop picture taken, my aunt & me had a haircut & then more shopping. Ahakz!

We met Dad and fetch the kids to the famous Batam bridges & went to the beach for a swim. It was an hour's drive! The bridges connect several islands together, very big islands to me! After an exhausting hour by the beach and several "sate kacang" (they have spicy satay too!), we spent 1 and a half hour drive back to eat buffet Padang food (different from Sunda) before boarding the ferry home at 8.30pm (INDO TIME).

A truly fun-filled weekend.

My Day began with an early morning birthday call from my dearest Mum followed by a simple celebration at the office. Filled with merriment & laughter, the mouth-watering "Mango Delight" cake became an aphrodisiac. It was definitely one of my best birthday cakes as well a delightful tea-break excuse!




2nd in line for my birthday celebration is dinner at Internation Buffet (Tampines Mall) with Adah and Adri (who managed to drop by an hour later) where we ate to our hearts content. The sharks fin soup is nice! Thanks ADah ! Muahs!

Next in my birthday celebration agenda is St James Powerhouse located next to Vivo City. It is a whole collection of clubs on its own. Im, Fizah, Hubby & Me when club hopping and getting acquainted to every loop at the place. Clubs are separated by music category and sizes. The most intriguing is the one that fell smack in the middle and can oversee several clubs at any one time. The karake rooms were poshly decorated with velvet floors, walls & sofas.


Another special place to note would be the outdoor swing-like sitting that's so different from cigarette -filled bars even though they claim it s outdoors.

My first attempt at the famous Suria Masak Mini Recipe (Episode 6); Lahmajun from Chef Hairuz, Turkish KitchenOthers (type of dish)

Bahan-Bahan
Bahan Lahmajun
(A) Inti
(B) 125g adunan roti

(A) Bahan Inti
5 biji tomato½ biji bawang besar
2 biji lada jepun hijau
1 biji lada jepun merah
20g daun parsli
garam secukup rasa
½ sudu kecil lada hitam
1 sudu besar pes tomato
100g daging cincang

(B) Bahan Roti
750 g tepung gandum
¼ - ½ sudu kecil sodium bikarbonat
½ sudu kecil vegetable shortening
½ sudu besar garam
½ sudu kecil ibu roti
1.2 l Air suam (65 – 70 darjah selsius)

Cara Cara
Cara membuat Inti
1. Kisar tomato.
Tapis jusnya.
2. Kisar bawang besar beserta lada jepun hijau.
3. Kisar lada jepun merah dengan daun parsli.
4. Gaulkan bahan-bahan yang telah dikisar dengan garam, lada hitam dan pes tomato.
5. Kemudian masukkan daging cincang dan gaul lagi sehingga sebati.

Cara membuat Adunan Roti
1. Adunkan semua bahan menjadi doh.
Pastikan doh tidak lekit dengan menambahkan tepung jika perlu. Doh harus lembut.
2. Perapkan selama 45 minit – 1 jam.

Cara membuat Lahmajun
1. Canai adunan roti dengan tipis.
2. Letakkan inti di atasnya dan sapu rata.
3. Bakar di dalam ketuhar selama 7 minit pada suhu 300 darjah.
