At Randell's Wedding

First list of the day was to rush to a colleague's wedding at National Service Resort before swishing to Watten Road for a garage sale offering this sturdy sofa bed free, courtesy of my "good-connections" bro. Satisfied after finally getting my brother's friend to help to transport the sofa to my place, I swished to another wedding.
My younger brother's bestfriend finally sanding. So beautiful... everything decked in gold.. I loike!
Then Yum and my future bro-in-law whom I met at the wedding came over my place so I swished back home just in time to rest and await the arrival of my "new" sofa. Now I have something new to shop for; sofabed covers!
Mum & Pop-in-law came over soon after bringing dinner along.. WooHoo!
All this swishing calls for an early night... My hubby had his own swishing too...

My morning began making Hubby’s morning drink before he goes to work and then I waited for THE time; the Estee Lauder private sale, courtesy of Dabrat.

When I reached there, this so called private sale was not so “private” at all as there were hundreds of other “private sale” enthusiasts like me and DaBrat there. The tremendously long queue was totally disheartening and we only reached that entrance after an hour of queuing.

Apart from Estee Lauder, the other brands on sale were Bobbi Brown, Clinique , Origins & Mac. Our first stop was, of course, the Estee Lauder booth. Seeing the rows and rows of “Beyond Paradise”… my heart sink in and my suspicions confirmed. My Pleasures Exotic had already been sold out. However, as if it was fated and before the disappointment permanently sets in, we spotted a box of Pleasures Intense & Pleasures Exotic. In a heartbeat, I quickly grabbed both sets before others laid their predatory eyes on these 02 hot items. My Pleasures Exotic became my advance birthday Prezzie too... Courtesy of Ms Dabrat...Woohoo!

With the 02 items safely kept in my bag, we then continued with our other shopping spree. Our best finds were Bobbi Brown foundation, MAC lipsticks and Mac concealer.

Overall, the shopping escapade was worth it but I must remind myself to come earlier for a Private sale as in may not be so “private “after all.
Next on the agenda was threesome lunch at Sakura Compasspoint. The third person being Hubby, who gamely joined us after his half-day work that day. The 03 of us had a seafood spread that day which consist of savory sweet and sour sliced fish, lemony lemon chicken, very “bagus” asparagus salad dish , hot fried wantons and yummy hotplate beancurd. A rather complete meal but we realized a little late that we didn’t order any soupy dish as well... So the whole lunch was a little on dry side... but that aside. Lunch was excellently enjoyable...

The arrival of Izza Insyirah weighing 3.14kg on 25 April 07 at 804pm was indeed the most happening event of the week especially since the mum was still freely sms-ing after her water bag broke and that izza's mum went through a normal birth amidst the inviting needle of epidural to numb the pain of labor. Bravo Nad! If Noraini can do so can you!

Seeing Izzza make me real happy. I guess seeing babies always
make me smile. They have no worries. All pure and simple.
I spent my evening not clearing my month end pile as usual but ahead to see the newborn all sweet & pink. Lira, Sally & me took turns to carry her. Boy did she know how to turn her eyes to the camera. A real camera friendly baby...

I'll be seeing her soon...! :)

I thought today will be one of those boring days until *ting ting*, the sound of my sms echoed in my office. Our outing for the late week brought forward to today. WooHoo!

With all the sickly and sneezy days from Sunday, this is like my getaway, the perks, my temporary retreat from everything else.

Well, initially it would have been the normal trio but as me & Preggie Mama arrived at Vivo City, we shopped & walked, shop & walked, we settled to wait for DaBrat at Fig & Olive. Tired & Hungry, Preggie Mama & me helped ourselves to our spaghetti & the "ok²-tasting" steak but good after the salt & pepper was requested. Highly recommended for those eating, followed by chilling. Anyway, after realising Dabrat's not turning up, we devise ways to ensure her timely arrival. ;)

For those who don't know, the latest thing is not crocs. Its the epitome of designer wear. Since crocs arrrive in Singapore, it has infected many. But since this craze is steadying, the injection of design tidbits crocs is all the craze now... Makes me wanna have one too..!

All in all, it was a fantastic evening. I reached home slightly earlier so as not to let my precious hubs wait too long for me. He does gets worried when I am away too long. Awww...! Love him so much!

Wonder why sleeping late last night made me wake up real early today. Maybe its the hazards of getting older, you just sleep lesser. Noooo......!!! *Negative thoughts ignored*

Haizzz... Time to switch back to real life where wives exist.

Today, I managed to squeeze ample time to do my simple french toast (fried with no oil of course) and every single one is well done.

Downing our daily intake of nutrious all-in-one tablets, and away we go into another world where we toil ourselves under a pile of paperwork.

Today Hajar & me celebrated Fizah's belated birthday.

Hajar came stunningly late with with her ever-stunning hair and style and of course, her Manhattan PM Monogram Canvas LV.

Spending our tea-time-cum-dinner at Sakae Sushi in our friendly neighbourhood wih all the Fish Roe, Salmon and what not... then, its time to catch up on all the missing gossip & other stuffs. That is when I realise Fizah has an amazing, amazing memory where I wouldn't recall anything she mentioned should she have not mentioned it. What am I babbling?? Oh well, Fizah recalls the past as if it was yetserday...

Finally, the long awaited time, it was time to present the prezzies from Hajar & me as well the hot mamas that could not make it; Isma & Leen (Isma & Leen pics at Leen's firstborn's, Nadya's cukur rambut)... See the frown, just like her mom's.. Hiukhiukhiuk...

Well, Fizah's gift number...

1) Pearly double-necklace

2) Handmade lips card (Not considered prezzie)

3) Abrecombe & Fitch Pink T-shirt (I forgot to take out the price tag! What a big goof!)

4) Fuschia Pink Pashmina, (Now she has even more pink stuff)and last but not least...

5) Lee Hwa Bracelet (White gold & rose gold)

Seeing her happy as the time drew near for us to say our parting words, we were greeted by line dancing people. What a way to part! What a show! Where this ladies get their energy and zealousness.
Anyway, Happy Belated Birthday Fizz...
