Participants: Abang Usop(Kak Tie's hubby), Kak Tie, Kak Tie's 3 kids(Izza, Ayush, Seha),Kak Ani, Kak Ani's 3 kids(Irfan, Maisara, Danish), Yum, my niece(Sofea) , my darling and Me (of Cos!). The trip to the Animal Farm at Yio Chu Kang. A boisterous affair with those trying to overcome the horse-fear, the chicken-fear, the rabbit-fear, the ayam-belanda-fear(what's ayam belanda in English?) and the pelican-fear. But despite the unexpected downpour, we enjoyed a short hammock rest and swan-seeing and hut-picture-taking and a ever-so-loud Dan and Seha in the van before swooping to Satay Club for a quick feast. Ending the day with a little rest at Kak Tie's place. And returning poor, tired Sofea Erika home. Things at the Farm... Orchard was close that day due to Chingay Festival. These are the pictures I posted late due to technical errors... Enjoy... This is where we parked and then walked to... And stayed to stare at... Awaiting floats.. . The first float: Commemorating the Year of The Rooster (MY YEAR!) The Parade Began... On the walk back we dutifully noted the sign... No more taxi here as the road closes...
